Family Free Play Hours:
Monday: Closed for free play
Tuesday: 10:00-12:00 & 1:00-4:00
Wednesday: 10:00-12:00, 1:00-4:00 & 5:00-7:00
Thursday: 11:00-12:00 & 2:00-4:00
Friday: 10:00-12:00 & 1:00-4:00
Saturday: 10:00-2:00 on the third Saturday of the month unless it falls on a holiday weekend

Program Inventory Below
The FRC hosts family play hours. These are designed to provide early literacy opportunities, while fostering child lead play and parent-child interaction. This takes place in a comfortable environment for parents and children.

Family Free Play
Wednesday Mini Group
Join us at the FRC every other Wednesday at 2:30 for group!
What’s mini group? It is a short group in the center, typically anywhere from 20-30 minutes. Groups could be a craft, a special snack, game or activity
Target age: 0-5

We are excited to announce that Rhonda from Prairie Pine Wellness will be joining us at the FRC every other Thursday at 1:00pm for yoga indefinitely
Target age: 0-1

Mats provided, however you’re welcome to bring your own
Mama & Me Yoga
Join us at the FRC every other Thursday at 1:00pm for a craft or activity for you are you little one
This is a great opportunity to meet other mom’s in the community

Hello Baby
Join us at the FRC every Thursday at 10:00am for group!
The activities for this group change weekly, but the time will always be the same. Follow our social media to see what we are planning each week for this group!

Toddler Group
Weights Wednesday
Pop in the the FRC Wednesdays between 10:30 & 12:00 to get your babies weighed by a public health nurse
They are also available to answer any questions you may have regarding your baby, breastfeeding, etc.

Pop in the the FRC Tuesday between 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Each Tuesday we bring in different visiting professionals to bring you information of different areas of parenting and child development
Continuous Guests:
KidsFirst - Join KidsFirst in the FRC on the third Tuesday of every month to do an Ages & Stages questionnaire. These questionnaire check where your child’s milestones are at. Let’s celebrate their (and your) successes!

Are you expecting a baby? We are here to help!
The FRC in partnership with public health, KidsFirst, Positively Parenting and PrairiePine Wellness are excited to offer FREE pre and postnatal classes for parents in Meadow Lake
This program is on a demand basis, once there is enough interest for a class we will announce dates
Please let us know if you are interested in this program and we will add you to our list

FRC 2nd Birthday Party
From 11:00-3:00 join us in the FRC parking lot to celebrate TWO years of the FRC! We will have burgers, cake, face painting, bouncy castles, magicians & MORE!

Farley Party
Farley is so excited about his new home that he want’s to celebrate!
Come join the Farley Party at the Meadow Lake Library! We are having an extra special story time, snacks, and balloons!
*If you didn’t find Farley you are still WELCOME to join the party! (There may even be a Farley or two waiting at the party for you.)


ParticipACTION Kick Off Party
Join the FRC & many others at the Lion’s Park to kick off the ParticipACTION challenge in June.
There will be events going on all month, watch for up dates, get moving, and log those minutes!
Help Meadow Lake win the ParticipACTION challenge 2 years in a row!
**Family Free Play will not be available this evening as we will be at the park.
